Scholarship Details

The IDFC FIRST Bank MBA Scholarship 2019-21 is a financial assistance programme aimed at providing financial assistance to Indian students who are just starting out with their MBA/PGDM or equivalent management programmes at selected 150 B-Schools of India.

Eligibility Criteria

Students are required to follow simple eligibility conditions mentioned here below to apply for this scholarship.

• Open to Indian Nationals residing in India only.
• Gross annual family income of the applicant from all sources should be less than or equal to Rs 6 Lakhs per annum
• Applicant must be enrolled in first year of 2019-21 batch of MBA degree (or its equivalent) programme are eligible
• Only applicants from 150 selected MBA colleges list available at scholarship application link mentioned below

Awards

IDFC FIRST Bank is providing a holistic financial assistance to its scholars. The scholarship program awards cover academic fees of MBA (or equivalent) students for 2 years of management studies. It provides a scholarship award sum of INR 1.00 Lakh per year for 2 years of studies.

Selection Criteria and Process

Applications for this scholarship programme will be vetted on the basis of financial need of the applicants. Students with limited financial resources to continue their education and academic performance to ensure a bright career in the field of management will be given preference for this scholarship. It is important to note that students pursuing Executive MBA or Integrated MBA or MBA Exchange Programs might not be able to apply for this scholarship.

The selection process will involve multi-stage interviews and document verification steps to ensure that the students who most need this scholarship are benefitted.

Selection of applications on the basis of compliance with the eligibility criteria

Selection Process Step 2: Interview rounds
Telephonic Interview to verify the application form information and analysis of applicants’ financial, academic and personal identity
This step might lead to the next level of face-to-face interviews if required.

Selection Process Step 3: Final selection
IDFC FIRST Bank will identify the final list of IDFC FIRST Bank MBA Scholars by August 2019 (tentatively)
